What typically happens at a Tranzac session?

7:30-8:00 pm - The first half hour is usually spent learning a tune or a set of tunes for anyone interested. Participants are encouraged to bring a recording device.

The rest of the session is spent playing whatever tunes people are interested in, usually until 10:30 or 11 pm. Level of playing depends heavily on the musicians present, but speed tends to be slower until around 9 pm, after which the regular session takes over.
